Responsible Gaming

You are reading an information page, not a gambling venue. Before you follow any link from here, it helps to know exactly what this site can and cannot do for you if gambling starts to feel like a problem.

What can't this site do if I want to stop?

Controls such as deposit caps, loss caps, reality checks, cooling-off periods and self-exclusion belong to an operator account. This build has no account, no form and no server-side application, so nothing published here can switch one on, check one or enforce one. If you want any of those controls, you arrange them inside your own account at the destination you play with.

Nobody's age is verified on this site, and no gambling takes place on it. Any check of that kind happens at the destination. The eighteen-and-over restriction is repeated throughout this build, including on the front page, but repeating it is a notice, not a check.

No advertising or behavioural profiling network is present in these pages. Nothing here is targeted at you because of how you have behaved, and nothing here watches for risky patterns either. Noticing those patterns is up to you and the people around you.

How can I keep gambling under control?

  • Decide the amount before you start. A limit set in a calm moment is more reliable than one set in the middle of a session, when wins and losses distort your judgement.
  • Treat that amount as already spent. If you think of it as the price of entertainment, a loss costs nothing beyond what you planned, and a win is a bonus rather than a target to repeat.
  • Never chase a loss. Each bet is independent of the last, so raising stakes to win money back only increases what you can lose, usually faster.
  • Keep gambling out of borrowed money. Credit and loans turn a session's loss into a debt that keeps costing you after you stop, often with interest.
  • Take breaks. Time passes quickly during play. Stepping away lets you check the clock and your balance against the plan you made beforehand.
  • Involve someone else early. When gambling stops being entertainment, a trusted person can spot changes you might explain away, and talking sooner means there is less damage to repair.

Where can I find independent help?

Every page of this site, this one included, carries links to five independent gambling-help organisations: BeGambleAware, Gamble Aware, Gambling Therapy, G GamCare Gambling Support: Starts Here, and NCPG. You will find them in the links section of the page. They are independent sources of help, separate from this site and from any operator.

These are the only outbound links on the whole site that are not commercial. Unlike the operator links, they carry no sponsored marking. They are set to nofollow and open in a separate tab on the organisations' own websites. This site receives nothing when you follow one. Once you are there, that organisation's own site handles your visit, not this one.
